I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and am a licensed Utah educator. I began my teaching career at a Title I school in Southern California before taking time away to raise my five children (four boys and one girl) while remaining actively involved in education through volunteer service and leadership.

Since returning to the classroom in 2020, I have taught K–6 music and fifth grade.  Most recently, I supervised a Hybrid Elementary Program at a charter school where I partnered with families to create personalized learning plans for students learning from home. I have received training from the Dyslexia Center of Utah and have tutored students with learning disabilities. I am passionate about helping students thrive and collaborating with families and educators to create meaningful learning experiences.

 Outside of education, I enjoy going for walks with my husband, cheering on my children at sporting events, and reading a good book.  I am thrilled to be joining the team at Elevated Charter School!
