Rachael Lever, MEd

South Region

I am a lifelong teacher and student. I love to help others learn and I love to learn new things. I have been teaching in a public or charter school setting for four years. Before that, I worked as a paraprofessional in an elementary school for two years. And before that, I homeschooled my six children for approximately 12 years, which actually felt like 112 years or nothing at all, depending on the day. I am an advocate for students being able to learn at their own pace and in their own way as much as possible. I believe that reading is the key to life, and I read as much as I can. I have a B.S. in Communication Disorders/Speech Pathology from the University of Utah, a M.Ed for Elementary Education from Western Governer’s University, and in June of 2025 I will have finished a second M.Ed in Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, and Yoga. I have also earned a STEM endorsement.

I am currently passionate about writing, yoga, reading, walking my dog Daisy, and spending time with my teenagers before they fly the nest. I enjoy knitting, quilting, hiking, practicing on Duolingo, board games, drinking herbal tea, and planning dream vacations. I have traveled to Europe, Canada, and 18 states. I hope to go to Maine someday, and I would love to visit Scotland and Italy. I love working with families to facilitate learning and seeing the amazing things that our students can learn and do.
