Purchasing Assistant

Hello! I am so happy to be part of the team at Elevated Charter School, supporting staff and students as the purchasing assistant and inventory specialist. I am passionate about organization and detail work, and have utilized those skills in various administrative roles over the past decade. 

My educational background is in family services, human development, and special education. Over the years, I have worked in special education and music education classrooms, provided direct caregiving and therapeutic support to special education students and their families, and worked in dental and optometric patient care. I became a certified victim advocate with The Refuge Utah in 2021 and spent several years performing crisis support for children and adults. Working with individuals and families in each of these settings has shaped my belief in the importance of individualized support and empowerment through education. 

Outside of work, I spend my time with my husband, our toddler daughter, and our dachshund. I enjoy reading historical fiction, knitting socks and sweaters for my family, making pastries, and performing as a violinist with the Nebo Philharmonic Orchestra.
